Cookie policy
This policy describes which cookies and similar technologies the portservice.cz website uses, for what purposes, how long we keep them and how you can control them. Processing takes place in accordance with the GDPR (2016/679) and Section 89 of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on electronic communications.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They mainly serve to remember your preferences, to make the site work and, where you give consent, for analytics and personalisation.
Your choice
On your first visit a bar appears where you can accept cookies, reject them or choose individual categories. You can change your consent at any time:
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
Required for the basic operation of the site. Without them the site would not work correctly. These cookies cannot be rejected.
Preferences
These remember your choices, such as language or a preferred display format. The site works without them; some choices simply are not kept between visits. This site currently stores no preference cookies.
Analytics
This category covers optional analytics tools that measure traffic and user behaviour using cookies, for example Google Analytics. Such tools are activated only after you consent to this category. The site does not use them today, so they store nothing in your cookies.
Marketing
These serve to target advertising and measure campaigns. The site does not use this category today. If it were activated in future, that would happen only after your consent.
Measuring traffic and stability without cookies
For a basic overview of traffic and site speed we use Vercel (Web Analytics and Speed Insights). These measurements work without storing cookies, place no identifiers in your browser and do not track you across sites, which is why they run without consent to the analytics category. Site stability and technical errors are monitored by Sentry, which is activated only once the site goes into live operation.
The Google map of our offices
The Contact page embeds a map of offices, ports and terminals operated by Google (Google Maps, specifically My Maps). Port Service maintains the map directly in Google Maps so that it matches the one on the previous website.
The map loads together with the page, that is without separate consent. Once it loads, your IP address and technical details about your browser are sent to Google, and Google may store its own cookies in your browser under the google.com and googleapis.com domains. These are not cookies of the portservice.cz website and the consent bar does not affect them.
If you would rather this did not happen, you can block third-party cookies in your browser, or not open the Contact page. Every address and telephone number is also given as text on the same page, so you lose no information. Google's own terms are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Processors and data transfers
The site is operated by contracted processors: hosting runs on the Vercel platform, transactional e-mails confirming submitted forms are sent by Resend, and the map on the Contact page is provided by Google. These providers process data only to the extent necessary to run the site. Details of personal data processing are in the Privacy policy section.
Specific cookies and technologies
The website itself stores only the following items in your browser.
| Name | Owner | Purpose | Lifetime | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cc_cookie | portservice.cz | A record of the choice you made in the consent bar. | 6 months | Strictly necessary |
Until you enable an optional category, cc_cookie is the only file the website itself stores. Files that the embedded map may store are described in the section about the Google map above. As soon as we put any analytics or marketing tool into operation, we will add it to this table and ask for fresh consent.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Instructions are available in the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
