Data controller

The data controller is Port Service s.r.o., registered office at Václavská 2073/20, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, company number 285 14 734, registered in the Commercial Register under file number C 147178, Městský soud v Praze, e-mail: info@portservice.cz (the “Controller”).

The Controller hereby informs data subjects about the manner and scope of personal data processing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and with Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on personal data processing.

Personal data is processed on the basis of contract performance, the Controller's legitimate interest, compliance with legal obligations and, in some cases, on the basis of consent.

Categories of personal data processed

The Controller processes in particular the following personal data:

  • first name and surname,
  • e-mail address,
  • telephone number, if you provide one voluntarily,
  • the content of the message sent through the form,
  • any other details the data subject provides voluntarily as part of an enquiry or correspondence.

Legal grounds and purposes of processing

Personal data is processed on the basis of:

  • performance of a contract, or steps taken at the data subject's request before entering into a contract,
  • the Controller's legitimate interest,
  • compliance with legal obligations,
  • the data subject's consent, where required.

The purposes of processing are in particular:

  • handling questions and enquiries sent through the forms on this website,
  • communication with clients, partners and applicants,
  • keeping an internal record of contacts,
  • operating, securing and improving the website,
  • marketing communication, only where consent to receiving news has been given.

Third parties involved

Personal data may be processed through contracted processors who operate the website for the Controller. These are in particular:

  • website hosting and operation (Vercel Inc.), including the technical and application infrastructure,
  • sending transactional e-mails, that is confirmations of submitted forms (Resend),
  • displaying the map of offices on the Contact page (Google Ireland Limited). See the Cookie policy for details,
  • monitoring technical errors and site stability (Sentry). This service is activated only once the site goes into live operation; until then it collects no data.

These processors process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide their services, under a data processing agreement and in accordance with applicable law. Where a processor processes data outside the European Economic Area, this takes place under the safeguards required by the GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses.

Retention periods

Personal data is retained:

  • for as long as is necessary to handle the enquiry and any follow-up communication,
  • for as long as is necessary to protect the Controller's rights,
  • where processing is based on consent, until that consent is withdrawn, and for no longer than 3 years.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the right:

  • of access to their personal data,
  • to rectification or completion,
  • to erasure,
  • to restriction of processing,
  • to data portability,
  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
